The personas (LEO, LEO Fiscaal, ZIA, VERA, BEVER, IRMA)
The web app runs six personas. A persona is the assistant you work with: it determines the system instructions, the available knowledge sources and tools, the questions in the specialization stepper, and the accent in the interface. The app itself (chat, projects, files, knowledge, notifications, settings) is the same for every persona.
The UI says “persona” throughout: you pick one under Choose your persona, switch through Switch persona, and manage the choice in Settings → Persona.
The six personas

The broadest legal persona.
- The broadest set of public legal source families: legislation, official publications, treaties, case law, EU law, parliamentary records, literature.
- Research jobs for deep, multi-step research.
- Workflow catalog in the prompt bar.
- The highest thinking-depth ceiling (up to Ultra), starting at Standard.
- Has its own onboarding tour.
- The only persona with a one-time pre-screen: LEO Legal or LEO Fiscaal (see below).
LEO Fiscaal
Section titled “LEO Fiscaal”Since late August 2026 a subscription of its own, no longer just a setting inside LEO.
- Its own source selection, tax core first: Belastingdienst knowledge-group positions, firm sources, EU TAXUD, backed by the legal backbone (legislation, official publications, treaties, case law, EU law, parliamentary handling of the Belastingplan).
- Deliberately excluded: professional-conduct rules for lawyers, personal injury, construction, criminal law, immigration law, and IP.
- No workflow list and no run page. The assistant can propose an intake card inside a conversation, but a started run cannot be tracked or read back anywhere in LEO Fiscaal. Switch to LEO if you want a dossier to actually run as a workflow. See Workflows and research jobs.
- Thinking depth up to Ultra.
- Shares cases, chats, and the specialization tree with LEO.
- No onboarding tour.
The persona for healthcare.
- The stepper asks “What kind of healthcare professional are you?” and then “Which fields do you work in?”.
- Doctors and allied health professionals (art. 34) get an extra Profile step; other professions do not.
- No public legal source families. The emphasis is on internal documents, guidelines, and standards.
- Connects to Nedap ONS for care records.
- Thinking depth starts at Quick, with Thorough as the ceiling.
- Has its own onboarding tour.
The persona for the physical living environment.
- The stepper asks “What kind of construction professional are you?” and then “Which construction areas do you work in?”.
- Sources around the Omgevingswet, IPLO, official publications, and Raad van Arbitrage.
- Supports BIM models (IFC) and CAD drawings (DWG/DXF).
- No research jobs, thinking depth up to Thorough.
- No extra third stepper question: role and areas are followed straight by the summary.
- Has its own onboarding tour.
The persona for public decision-making.
- The stepper asks “What is your role in public decision-making?” and then always adds the Layer of government step alongside your policy areas.
- Sources around decentralised regulation (CVDR), council information (iBabs, Notubiz), VNG, audit offices, CBS StatLine, the national budget, open-government data, and NCSC.
- No workflows or research jobs: those exist in LEO only.
- Thinking depth up to Standard: the ladder is there and you can pick Quick, but BEVER goes no higher than Standard.
- No onboarding tour.
The persona for risk management and information security.
- The stepper asks your role and then “Which sector and ISMS phase do you work in?”. The ISMS phase step always appears, whatever your role.
- Focused on standards frameworks, regulators, and the phase your management system is in.
- No research jobs, thinking depth up to Thorough.
- No onboarding tour.
IRMA is also an application in its own right. Next to this persona, IRMA exists as a full GRC/ISMS application at https://app.prudai.com/irma, with its own registers and screens. This documentation only describes the IRMA persona inside the chat shell. For the application itself, your administrator will point you to it.
Which personas do you see?
Section titled “Which personas do you see?”Which personas appear in the picker depends on your organization’s subscriptions (entitlements) and on what has been enabled for your account.
- If your account has exactly one persona, it loads automatically and you never see a picker.
- If you have several, the app asks “Choose your persona” when you arrive.
- Product access is matched exactly on the slug: a subscription to one persona does not grant access to another.
- If your account has no active entitlements at all, the app stays on a stable no-access screen. That screen is about your subscription, so it says “product” rather than “persona”.
Switching persona
Section titled “Switching persona”There are two routes:
- User menu (top right): Switch persona.
- Settings → Persona: this also shows which persona is currently active.
What to keep in mind:
- Switching reloads the app.
- Project and chat lists are scoped per persona. LEO and LEO Fiscaal share one scope; ZIA, VERA, BEVER, and IRMA each have their own.
- Some pages only exist in one persona. If you see a message that a page is only available in another persona, switch through Settings.
- Your language preference follows you across every persona.
LEO Legal or LEO Fiscaal: two layers that look alike

If you work in the full LEO persona, your first visit opens a pre-screen asking “What will you be working in?”. There you pick LEO Legal or LEO Fiscaal. The UI is explicit about it: “This choice is made once; only an administrator can change it later.” If you pick fiscaal, the role “fiscalist” is pre-selected for you and the specialization tree opens on tax law.
Where do you see that choice again?
- The top bar shows the full catalog name, for example “Lex Explanata Oraculo (LEO)”.
- The sidebar divider shows “LEO Legal” or “LEO Fiscaal”, never a bare “LEO”.
- If your organization set its own product name, that name wins and the suffix disappears.
Your administrator can switch features off
