Export (PDF/Word)
You can take assistant output into your matter file in a few ways.
Export from chat
Section titled “Export from chat”For each assistant message you can export:
- PDF (sharing/archiving)
- Word (.docx) (editing)
In project context you may also have:
- Save Word to project files (stores the DOCX into the project documents)
Tip: ask for a clean structure (headings, numbering, tables) for better exports.
Word export uses your organization branding in the document template:
- the customer logo is placed in the top-right header;
- the left footer shows Made by LEO / ZIA / VERA followed by the existing Prudai logo from the template;
- the footer center shows the export date only;
- the right footer shows the page number;
- internal chat tool cards/tool calls are omitted from the exported document;
- internal markers in the message body (such as the
[[…]]tags the assistant uses internally) are stripped from the Word file; - Word export uses the verbatim assistant text (
verbatim_text) so citations, structure, and source references are preserved.
If your organization does not have a logo configured yet, update the organization branding first.
Export filename
Section titled “Export filename”The app picks a clean filename based on the chat or matter context. If the server does not return a usable filename, the browser falls back to a readable default so the download still saves correctly.
Filenames containing non-ASCII characters (accents, em-dashes, smart quotes, non-Latin scripts) are sent with Content-Disposition (RFC 5987) so they render correctly in all modern browsers.
Export from research
Section titled “Export from research”Research deliverables can also be exported to Word/PDF.
